Sacramento River

Finally back on the upswing, the Sacramento River is one of the largest river systems in the Western US. It boasts 100’s of miles of access points, but we focus on the areas where fishing is best. King Salmon fishing in the Sac can be excellent from July through November when seasonal runs send upwards of one million KingĀ  Salmon into the swift flowing, off colored water. Because of its size, however, the Sacramento River is no place for first timers. With thousands of holes to learn, underwater obstructions to watch out for and endless miles of water, we can put you in the strike zone consistently.

Sacramento/San Joaquin Delta

The California Delta was once heavily populated by Tule Elk, Pronghorn Antelope, and Grizzly Bears surrounded by marshy landscape. Over the years, the Delta has been reconstructed into many sloughs that supply water for California’s Central Valley farmers and has become one of the best destinations in the world for fishing, kayaking, wind surfing, and recreational boat use. You can also find iconic restaurants and resorts while visiting in the Delta that have amazing views of Mount Diablo. The Delta holds many different species of fish such as King Salmon, Sturgeon, Striped Bass, and Large & Smallmouth Bass, for example. These fish make excellent table fare and are sought out by anglers from all across the United States and beyond.
